BLACK, FREE & REBEL
« I RESISTED SLAVERY »
The epic story of the resistance to slavery of 6 black personalities - 3 women, 3 men - from the beginnings of the transatlantic slave trade (16th century) to the abolition of slavery (19th century). A documentary re-enactment of the importance and variety of the resistance to slavery, an experience with breath and emotion, which begins in Africa, continues on the ships during the crossing of the Atlantic Ocean and ends in the Americas. A history that has been ignored, neglected, even concealed for a long time, today celebrated by the Afro-descendant community and that a wide audience, eager for exceptional stories, only asks to know better or discover.
